is a CheckMate Statement?
All of our accounts offer CheckMate, our automated check retrieval
service. With CheckMate, we are able to scan the fronts and backs of your
original checks into our computer system and permanently store them on
an optical disk. The scanned image becomes a permanent digital document
and can be reproduced at any time.
What
if I need to prove I paid for something?
If you need an image of the front or back of any item, we can provide
it almost instantly—just come in or call us. We can even enlarge
the imaged item for ease of signature and endorsement verification. In
fact, due to quality and clarity, an imaged check is preferred over microfilm
copies for proof of payment. Imaged checks are fully accepted by the IRS
and in a court of law.
What
will my monthly statements be like?
With each statement we will return high-quality laser images of the
front of each of your checks neatly sorted, three-hole punched and ready
to store in a 3-ring binder. Imagine…no more shoeboxes, overstuffed
