Danny
O’Neill talked to half a dozen banks before he was introduced to
Grant Burcham at Missouri Bank. "Nobody expressed much interest in
my growing business," says Danny, the owner and self-professed Bean
Baron of The Roasterie, Inc. "They just looked at their ratios and

The Roasterie
is a wholesale gourmet coffee roaster started by O’Neill in the basement
of his home in 1993. Today the company is the chosen vendor to the majority
of fine restaurants, upscale grocery stores, coffee houses and espresso
carts in Kansas City and is building a loyal following outside the city
as well.
