Not a Billboard; a Mission

The downtown branch has a new look. The goal: A new outlook – for the bank, its customers and the community.
“At mobank, we’ve had it with hand-wringing. We’re done with doom and gloom. It’s not that things are easy these days. For people who create and build a business, it’s never easy. However, what happens on Wall Street is very different from what’s happening here,” said President and CEO Grant Burcham.
That is the attitude mobank shares with its business customers, and why its ties run deeper than typical banker-customer relationships. Burcham adds, “We refuse to be leaves tossed about by the wind. Whether we survive, and ultimately succeed, is on us. None of us would have it any other way.“
That’s the essence of the message Burcham delivered in a column in The Kansas City Star in September 2011. That message seemed to strike a chord, and mobank is continuing to spread the word of Main Street business resilience and strength with its “Go Business. Go.” campaign.
Kansas Citians will see more messages like this from mobank over the weeks and months to come.<<-Next Prev->>
